Deathstars es una banda de Metal Industrial, formada en Enero del 2000, originaria de Gothenburg, Suecia. El nombre de la banda en un principio fue Swordmaster, pero decidieron cambiar el nombre y la dirección musical de la banda (anteriormente tocaban Thrash Metal). Los integrantes son pertenecientes de Swordmaster y otros fueron incorporados desde Dissection y Ophthalamia.

La banda está conformada por Andreas Bergh (Whiplasher Bernadotte) en voces, Emil Nödtveidt (Nightmare Industries) en guitarras y teclados, Jonas Kangur (Skinny) en bajos y voces de fondo, Ole Öhman (Bone W. Machine) en batería y el miembro mas reciente, Eric Cat (Cat Casino) en guitarras.
